Alexandria VA Homes for Sale: September 2013

ActiveRain Contest-what have you learned about growing your business?

Yes, I realize it is September 27 and this contest is about to end.  However, there is still time - and I'm living proof of that because I am getting ready to write my entry now.  I'm sure you can do it, too, if you have not already submitted your entry.  It seems straightforward enough but I bet any of us, from newbie to experienced, can pick up a tip or two from what undoubtedly some outstanding posts.

It's time for another ActiveRain Contest! For the month of September, we'd like you to share how you have grown your business. What's worked and failed?  Please be forthright, after all, we're a community here. Personally,  I just finished reading "The Seven Levels of Communication" written by a down and out REALTOR® and plan on incorporating the thoughts there.

Challenge

We want to know how your approach to your business has changed through the years. If you’re new, give us an idea of what you’re focusing on now. For all of you, tell us what you’ve learned in your real estate career. For example, it could be that Open Houses do or don’t work. Or perhaps shopping cart advertising is passé. The goal of this contest is to learn from each other. We’re never too old for that!

Rules

You’re probably asking what’s in it for you? Every contestant who submits a blog entry gets 500 points. Only one entry per person please. We’ll also be awarding additional points for the top three posts as judged by our panel of myself Rene Fabre and Charles Buell.  First place gets an additional 1,500 points, second 1,000 points and 3rd 500 points.

Please make your posts at least 300 words.
Copy and paste a link to your post in the comments below.
Contest ends September 30th.

So we’re asking you to get creative here.  We wish you well. Share big and often. Have a great day!
